About Roma & Ash

We think most rooms fail for the same reason: too many okay pieces, and not enough good ones. Roma & Ash exists to fix that.

The philosophy is short enough to fit in a sentence. A generously sized rug, light at more than one height, and a few well-made things worth picking up. Get those right and the room takes care of itself. Everything we sell works toward that idea, and nothing here got picked by an algorithm. Every rug, lamp, pillow, and table on this site was chosen by a designer who saw it and wanted it for a client's room.

We keep the collection deliberately small, a few hundred pieces instead of fifty thousand, and we source it from the same artisan workrooms that supply many of the design industry's best-known names: hand-knotted wool from India, glazed ceramics, top-grain leather, solid wood. Because we buy directly and skip the showroom markup on decor, our everyday price sits below the manufacturer's suggested retail. That's not a sale. It's just the price.

Each product page carries a short note on why we chose the piece. If a note ever reads like filler, tell us. That's not the standard.

How buying from us works

Start wherever suits you. If you know what you want, shop the collections. If you don't, Find Your Style takes about a minute: pick the room you'd want to live inside, and it hands you a plan for building it. For a whole room done properly, Your Space gets you a free designer-built plan within two business days.

Buying a rug you've only seen on a screen is a leap, so we removed the leap: nearly every rug page offers a free 18" x 18" sample, up to ten per home. Order the samples, live with them for a week, then buy the rug you already know you love. Pillows work the honest way too — the price you see is the cover, and every size offers a poly or down insert so it arrives ready to style.

Decor ships free anywhere in the country on orders over $150. Furniture is handled personally: you speak with a consultant, we configure the piece exactly the way you want it, and it arrives white glove, meaning delivered, placed in the room, unpacked, and the packaging taken away. If you're not sure about a size or a color, call us before you buy.

The people behind it

Roma & Ash is built and run by the family behind Naples Leather, a furniture showroom that has served Southwest Florida since 2004. Two decades of walking people through rooms, one home at a time, is where the philosophy above comes from. It's also why there's a phone number on every page of this site: answering questions before you buy is the part of the job we've never been willing to give up.
